The 2006
Navman Maui Speed Challenge Series, presented by Naish Sails,
is making waves this summer. A six-event challenge starting
July 9, the races are for pros and recreational sailors alike.

Venue:
Kanaha (Naish) Beach between Canoe Hale and Kite Beach.
Discipline:
GPS Speed Sailing—each sailor will sail with a Navman
Sport Tool digital personal GPS trainer.
Classes:
Open, Men, Women, Master (over 45), Fun, Youth (16 and younger)
over 100lbs, and Youth 100lbs and under, Kite.
Format:
Sailors in the same class sail together to experience the same
conditions. Sailors will have 20-minute heats to try to obtain
their best speeds.

$25 per single race; $125 for the series

10 AM Sailor check-in at event site
